This document was last reviewed and updated on the effective date above.
Nexture AI LLC is committed to transparency. This page provides important summaries of key terms, warnings, and legal considerations regarding your use of the Nexture AI platform and its services. These disclosures supplement, but do not replace, our full legal documents referenced below.
1. AI-Generated Content Disclaimers
Our platform leverages advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) to provide tools such as document summaries, policy comparisons, and chatbot responses. It is crucial to understand the nature and limitations of these AI-generated outputs:
- Informational Purposes Only: All AI-generated outputs are provided for informational and assistive purposes only. They are designed to aid your workflow and research but are not intended to be comprehensive, definitive, or error-free.
- Not Professional Advice: The Nexture AI platform and its AI tools do NOT provide legal, financial, tax, or professional insurance advice. You must consult with a qualified, licensed professional (e.g., an insurance broker, attorney, financial advisor) for specific advice tailored to your situation or your clients' needs.
- User Verification Required: AI models can sometimes "hallucinate," make errors, misinterpret information, or provide outdated details. You are solely responsible for thoroughly reviewing, verifying, and confirming the accuracy, completeness, and applicability of all AI-generated content before acting or relying on it, or before sharing it with any third party, including your clients.
- Not a Substitute for Human Judgment: Our AI tools are designed to augment, not replace, human expertise, professional judgment, and due diligence.
2. No Fiduciary Duty
Nexture AI explicitly states that it does not assume any fiduciary duty, broker-client relationship, or other professional obligations to you, your clients, or any third party. Your relationship with your clients, and your professional obligations to them, remain solely your responsibility.
3. User Responsibility for Legal & Regulatory Compliance
- For Insurance Brokers: If you are an insurance broker, agent, or firm, you are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Nexture AI platform, including any AI-generated outputs, complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing your profession. This includes, but is not limited to, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) regarding Nonpublic Personal Information (NPI), state-specific insurance regulations (e.g., record-keeping requirements), and client consent for data processing.
- For All Users: You are responsible for ensuring that all content you upload to the platform is lawful and that you have all necessary rights and consents to do so. You are expressly prohibited from uploading Social Security Numbers (SSNs).
4. Data Processing & Third Parties
To provide our services, we use trusted third-party service providers for functions like cloud hosting (AWS), Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Large Language Models (LLMs), and payment processing. We have contractual agreements in place with these providers to ensure they protect your data and do not use it for their own purposes, except as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Your Data & Our AI Improvement
We utilize anonymized or pseudonymized versions of your uploaded documents and platform interactions to improve and fine-tune our internal AI models and features. This helps us make the service better and more accurate for you. You have the right to opt out of this specific use of your anonymized/pseudonymized data, as detailed in our Privacy Policy.
6. Regulatory Status
Nexture AI LLC is a technology company. We are not a licensed insurance broker, agent, adjuster, or insurance company. We do not sell, solicit, or negotiate insurance. We do not provide insurance quotes, bind coverage, or make any coverage determinations. Our platform is a software tool designed to assist licensed insurance professionals and their clients in managing and understanding insurance documents.
7. Electronic Communications
By creating an account or using the Service, you consent to receive communications from Nexture AI electronically, including via email and in-app notifications. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications provided electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing, in accordance with the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN Act).
8. Copyright & Intellectual Property Claims
Nexture AI respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that any content on the Platform infringes your copyright, we maintain a Designated Copyright Agent and a formal notice-and-takedown, counter-notification, and repeat-infringer procedure under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Please review our Copyright & DMCA Policy for the required contents of a notice and how to submit it.
